Fast Travel is an in-game mechanic to get around in Palworld.
General[]
"Fast travelling" is the act of a player teleporting from one landmark to another. In the case of Palworld, these landmarks are in the form of large Galeclaw statues (referred to as "Great Eagle Statues" by the in-game Survival Guide).
Fast travel points are unlocked via approaching a Galeclaw statue that glows orange. Activating these statues makes it change to a blue glow, to signal that it has been unlocked for later use, and gives the player one Technology point. To use a fast travel point, interact with an unlocked statue and select the desired location (of a base or other unlocked statue) on the map to teleport to.
Bases are special types of fast travel points where, once a Palbox is set up, one can fast travel to it like a normal fast travel point. This can allow one to set up their bases far away from normal fast travel points, as one doesn't need to rely on access to the latter in order to reach their base.
Each Tower has a fast travel point located on top of it (usually in addition to one located on the ground nearby), which is unlocked upon defeating the boss housed inside.
Attaining a "Wanted" status, getting attacked, or otherwise being in combat does not prevent the use of fast travel, so a player could run over to a nearby Galeclaw statue and teleport away, should a situation get too hairy (remember that the player can still die while looking at the map for a place to jump to!).
Fast travel cannot be used if it is disabled in the world settings[1][2]. In this case, the only purpose in finding them would be to gather Technology points.

Spawn Points[]
On player death, certain fast travel points will be made available for respawning (note that bases are always a respawn option). These locations include:
Name | Region | Description | Pal Population | Resource Amount |
---|---|---|---|---|
Eastern Wild Island | Eastern Wild Island | Wild island to the east. At the edge of the main island, none have considered developing it. Those not used to living in the wilds would find it hard to survive here. |
2/5 | 2/5 |
Forgotten Island | Forgotten Island | Far away from the main island, no one seems to be living on the island. Situated at the north end of the archipelago, the temperature is somewhat low. With few Pals and resources, living here is difficult. |
2/5 | 2/5 |
Ice Wind Island | Ice Wind Island | Cold winds from a snowy mountain blow across the island. The cold of the night can be fatal. Not even the archipelago native often consider living here. |
2/5 | 2/5 |
Marsh Island | Marsh Island | Island with expansive marches. Berries can be found everywhere, thanks to its temperate climate. Has good access to the center of the main island. |
3/5 | 4/5 |
Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach | Sea Breeze Archipelago | Sunny islands blessed with a pleasant sea breeze. Near a volcano with a warm, easy-to-live in climate. With good access to the center of the main island, it's a great place for setting off on adventures. |
3/5 | 3/5 |
Sea Breeze Archipelago Reef | Sea Breeze Archipelago | Coastline with reefs in every direction. Average number of resources and Pals. Though rocky, it's easy enough to secure a wide, open plot of land. |
3/5 | 4/5 |
Windswept Hills Flying Fish Coast | Windswept Hills | Sandy beach with lots of water Pals around. Not many trees, but many Pals call this place home. | 4/5 | 3/5 |
Windswept Hills Plateau of Beginnings | Windswept Hills | A small hill with a good view and plentiful resources. Recommended for new players. |
5/5 | 5/5 |
