The Makeshift Handgun is a ranged weapon in Palworld. It is unlocked at level 25 for 3 Technology Points.
Overview[]
The Makeshft Handgun is a pistol designed for close quarters combat. Though it deals much less damage per shot than the Musket, it can fire 6 times before needing to reload, making it a perfect sidearm for early-game players. However, since the Makeshift Handgun and Musket both share the same ammo type, being Coarse Ammo, one must keep an eye out on their ammo counter lest they find themselves without ammunition for either weapon.

- The Makeshift Handgun's legendary-tier Schematic can be obtained from the Alpha Fenglope boss.
- Contrary to its in-game description, the Makeshift Handgun can fire all 6 bullets in its magazine before needing to reload.
- The Makeshift Handgun can be purchased from a Wandering Merchant in Fisherman's Point for 16600 Gold Coins.
