Mammorest (Japanese: グランモス Granmosu) is a Grass and Ground elemental Pal.

Mammorest

The vegetation on its back varies between individuals. There is a long history of appreciating this veritable garden of a Pal, and there are even Mammorest pruning specialists.

Biology

Appearance

Mammorest is a large, quadrupedal proboscis Pal that serves as a reference to a woolly mammoth. Its body is mostly brown, and thick green grass covers the top of its body. It walks on four legs, which each one bearing a stone brace. It has two tusks made out of stone by its face, and there are two spikes by the corners on top of its body.

Behavior

Mammorest is neutral, and won't attack the player unless they attack first.

While Mammorest has established habitats where it's more common to find, these Pals can be encountered roaming all over Palpagos islands. On certain occasions a pair of wild Mammorest can be seen fighting to the death, if there's no external intervention both Mammorest will likely end up passing away at the end of the conflict from the damage received.
