Mau (Japanese: ニャオテト Nyaotet) is a 
Dark element Pal.

Appearance[]
Mau appears as a small black cat, with a pair of gold stripes or bands on each ear, lower leg, and its tail. It has a thick gold collar that is hollowed out with several circular holes along the circumference, square-shaped gold markings along its shoulders, and a large bell-like ornament at the end of its tail that is shaped like a sistrum. Its bright green eyes have gold eyeliner, and it has a small gold nose and brows.
Behavior[]
This Pal can only be encountered inside dungeons or imprisoned in the encampments of a faction.
A very timid creature. Mostly likes to run around and play. Most suitable use is for its ability to retrieve gold passively. Recommended to use its ice-type variant as it gives cooling as well as gold.

- This Pal was named by the community during a Name This Pal event.
- Mau's name and Egyptian theming references the Egyptian Mau cat breed.
- Mau is referred to as "Bastet" within the game files. The end of its tail being shaped like a sistrum, an ancient Egyptian musical instrument, reinforces this further, as the Egyptian patron deity of cats is often depicted with one.
- The name is also an onomatopoeia of cat meowing in several languages.
- Its Japanese name may come from ニャオ Nyao (onomatopoeia for the cry of a cat) and Bastet.
- Mau was featured in Paldeck No.041 on PocketPair X and youtube channel.
