The Meteorite Event is a random event that may happen around Palpagos Islands. This is the only way that Meteorite Fragments can be obtained.
Currently, there are three Pals that can spawn only during this event.

Trivia[]
- Meteorites will only start occurring after the first Tower Boss has been defeated.
- Interestingly, this is similar to the progression of Terraria, as meteorites will only spawn after the Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated for the first time in a world.
- Selyne will always spawn during Meteorites that occur on Sakurajima.
