Boss Arena

Concept art of the inside of a tower, featuring the arena where the residing boss is met

Towers are various structures found throughout the Palpagos Islands.

General[]

There are currently seven towers present in the game, one for each of the leaders of the factions that can be encountered in the game.

Mechanically, towers are similar to certain dungeons that start with "Sealed Realm of the ..." in their names, but instead of fighting a specific Alpha Pal, the player is tasked with fighting a tamed Pal, alongside its master. There is a time limit of ten minutes imposed onto the player; if said timer runs out before the tower boss is defeated, the game automatically kills the player on the spot, and he/she is booted out. The map will then open, prompting a choice of respawn location. The player's belongings will be dropped back at the tower's entrance for their owner to pick up.

Defeating the boss living in their respective tower will prompt the unlocking of a fast travel point found on the tower's roof.

Tower bosses can be re-challenged at any time, simply by re-entering their respective tower.

Notes[]

  • There was a glitch that allowed the player to catch the bosses (Fixed in Early Access 0.1.5.0). The player must first attain a "wanted" status, before entering the boss tower. Once the PIDF guards spawn in and attack, the player can then "backshot" the boss for the capture bonus, allowing the player to catch the boss. This allows the player to use the boss on their team and be put to work in a base.

Update History[]

  • Early Access 0.3.1
    • Each tower boss now has a hard mode, allowing you to face them in their ultimate form!
    • Saya and Selyne has been added as a Tower Boss!
